TRAVEL

Getting here is part of the adventure.

Nantucket is an island, after all. Whether you arrive by ferry or by air, we recommend making your travel plans early so all that’s left to do when you arrive is enjoy the weekend.

By Ferry

Our recommendation: take the fast ferry from Hyannis.

Both Hy-Line Cruises and the Steamship Authority offer high-speed passenger ferries from Hyannis to Nantucket, with a crossing time of approximately one hour.

We recommend leaving your car on the mainland. Our wedding weekend is centered around downtown, and you will not need a car once you’re here.

Ferry tickets can book up in advance, so we strongly recommend reserving your round-trip tickets as soon as your travel plans are confirmed.

Driving to Hyannis? Both ferry services offer mainland parking options.

By Air

Prefer to skip the crossing? Fly straight to ACK.

Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK) has seasonal nonstop service from several major East Coast cities, including Boston and New York, making it especially easy to reach the island during the summer season.

Flight schedules and routes vary by season, so we recommend checking available service for your travel dates once September 2027 schedules are released.

Once you land, downtown is just a short ride away. Taxis and rideshare services are readily available, and The Wave, Nantucket’s public transportation system, also offers seasonal airport service.

Getting Around

Leave the car behind.

If you’re staying in or near Nantucket Town, you will not need a car for the wedding weekend. Our wedding festivities are centered around Town and Nantucket Harbor, and restaurants, shopping, the ferry terminals, and many of our favorite Nantucket spots are walkable.

Taxis, rideshare services, and The Wave are available for trips beyond Town.

Our advice: ferry or fly in, drop your bags, and enjoy Nantucket on foot.

Ashley & Zac are so looking forward to celebrating in Nantucket with the people they love most.
